DO YOU THINK ONE PERSON SHOULD CONTROL KANSAS COURTS?
WE DON'T EITHER.

Right now, Governor Brownback has pushed through the most political and radical remake of the Kansas Court system since our state was founded over 150 years ago. He, along with his legislative allies, dismantled the merit-based system - which chose judges based on qualifications, not partisan politics - and replaced it with a political model in an attempt to pack the court with supporters.

What you won't hear from Governor Brownback is that one in four women will face domestic violence in their lifetime. And, you won't hear that, statistically speaking, a woman is more likely to need to call on the courts to be there for them and their children - to protect them, to support them and to hear their cases.

Our state owes its very existence to women who refused to give up, give in or accept the unacceptable. These women fought for what they believed in, shattered glass ceilings and reminded us that we have a duty to fight for those that can't fight for themselves.

Are you willing to allow politics over qualifications to decide who sits on our bench? Are you willing to bet your life on it?

It's time to get active. It's time to make our voice heard. It's time to make history.

Join the fight. Stop Governor Brownback's power grab!
